New Computer
Got my new computer on Friday and it’s just starting to come together how I like it. Haven’t used a windows computer for a while so there’s a little readjustment but it’s all coming back pretty fast. I’ve even been completely unable to get wireless working flawlessly so the old frustrations with the OS are returning too.
For those that care the specs are: i5 overclocked to 4.4ghz, 8gb RAM, 64gb SSD, 1tb HDD, 2gb Radeon 6950, Blu-Ray, USB 3.0, water cooling and some other bits that don’t affect performance (like some blue LEDs that the manufacturer thought must look good on the fan)
Now I am back in the windows world I have Steam up and running if anyone wants to remind how much I suck at death-matches…
The processor is meant to be overclocked but I have absolutely no idea how to check.. Why must Windows hide all the details! I’m hoping that by the end of the week I’ll be back at my computer science skilled self again..
