New Computer
Got my new computer on Friday and it’s just starting to come together how I like it. Haven’t used a windows computer for a while so there’s a little readjustment but it’s all coming back pretty fast. I’ve even been completely unable to get wireless working flawlessly so the old frustrations with the OS are returning too.
For those that care the specs are: i5...

It’s an underdog story, with scrappy geniuses inventing the future. Particularly keen on Google’s “Don’t Be Evil” philosophy.
And then, of course, the second act is about how they become evil despite themselves. It’s like Animal Farm. The pigs make all these noble rules, and then systematically subvert them.

I’m currently sitting in my apartment and I hear drums coming from the street. There is only one rational explanation that comes to mind as to why there would be drum noises coming from the street and that is that the world has begun its destruction. Mankind is riding the descent into chaos as a primal disease has broken out causing widespread panic and a return to tribal anarchy. Surely. I...

New Magic Trackpad: not so new :)
simonos:
Apple introduced a new “Magic Trackpad” today, a very nice trackpad to be used instead of a mouse. But I remember using it back in 1997 with my 20th Anniversary Macintosh. See this picture?

This is really cool! I didn’t think any kind of city art could be interesting. This however surprised and pleased me.
“The interactive arts and technology collective known as Seeper is amongst the best of the world’s urban projection mapping artists. Earlier this year, Seeper unveiled an urban projection on the famed Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg, Germany, also the home to the auto...
